Leah Irvin is an Educational Specialist and counselor with the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) at UA Little Rock in Arkansas.
Leah earned her Master’s degree in Adult Education, Rehabilitation, and Counseling from UA Little Rock. She has worked in education since 2007 and has worked with marginalized citizens in some capacity most of those years. She has been a Nationally Certified Career Service Provider since 2020.
During her time in education, she has worked with Special Education, Adult Education/GED® and WAGE™, but has focused the majority of her efforts in Workforce Preparedness. She now counsel’s adults on postsecondary options for training that will lead to sustainable employment.
On her days off she loves to spend time with family and friends or cuddled in her recliner with a hot cup of coffee.
