Bio

Ms. Vialpando works directly with the community on issues of TRIO regulations, legislation and compliancy topics. She coordinates COE’s professional development including the annual conference and Relations with the Department seminar.

She has been with COE for over sixteen years and is committed to furthering the expansion of college opportunities for low-income, first-generation students and students with disabilities.

Ms. Vialpando has presented on topics for COE that include: Public Policy, Initiatives for State TRIO and Educational Opportunity Associations, TRIO Alumni Relations, Fair Share, Leadership, Advocacy and Benefits of COE. Ms. Vialpando is a proud graduate of the University of Wyoming with a B.A. of Science in Accounting and currently resides in College Park, Maryland with her partner Alan and daughters Vivien and Elise.
