TRIO Innovation Lab: AI in Action: Practical Strategies for TRIO Professionals is an interactive, one-day professional development experience that gives TRIO professionals hands-on opportunities to explore practical ways to use AI to enhance program operations, outreach, student engagement, and student success. Participants will learn to apply AI tools to improve program efficiency, create communication materials, promote ethical and responsible AI use among students, and support students throughout the college, graduate school, and career development process. Each 50-minute session features a guided mini-project, allowing participants to learn by doing and leaving with practical strategies they can apply in their programs. The Innovation Lab emphasizes thoughtful, mission-aligned uses of AI that can increase program impact and prepare students to navigate an evolving higher education and career landscape with confidence. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and smart device. Lunch will be provided.
